I have got to be one of very few people - almost none anywhere my age - who heard the original in Rose Marie before either hearing the Slim Whitman version or seeing Mars Attacks.

The original (secret?) reason I was posting a head-asplode gif was how much anymore my job seems to depend on having a better memory than other people. I was asked where some info in a graph came from, and both of the people doing the asking were copied on the email where I got the info five months ago - and the info was dependent on them doing testing down the line, so...

Information t echnology is becoming a more useful crutch each year for people with poor memories. But, I don’t think there will ever be a substitute for having in your head ready for recall. Information may be out there, but you have to at least remember where to look and what to look for.

Also, I believe you are right, almost no one even remembers Rose Marie anymore.
